OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Link Rehabilitation provides five-day outpatient physiotherapy services including but not limited to:

• Shoulder assessment, diagnosis and treatment
• All sport-related injuries
• Spinal injury treatment and management
• Most other joint and muscle pain
• Second opinions
• Medico legal assessment and reports
• Iontophoresis
• Shockwave therapy
• LASER therapy
• Waterproof and dry casts
• Provision of braces

Link Rehabilitation's functional approach is goal-orientated and patient centred. Key performance indicators and targets are utilized in every-day practice management such as specific strength testing using a dynamometer.

We accept all EFTPOS and American Express cards and have a HICAPS machine on site for health fund claiming.

We also accept patients with an GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) which is partially claimable from Medicare. Medicare rebate up to 5 allied health services per calendar year. This covers services such as physiotherapy, dietetics or podiatry. You can decide whether you want to allocate all of these to physiotherapy or whether you want to divide them up between various disciplines. However, it is important you keep track of how many visits you’ve had.

Please note that there are strict guidelines to meet criteria under a GPCCMP ie., the patient has a chronic medical condition that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer, some examples include musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, arthritis or osteoporosis.

All DVA/MVA/Worker's Comp patients require an up to date referral for treatment.
